  1. This is a quicky (native) Linux port of the 4.4BSD ftp daemon as found
  2. in the NetBSD-current source tree, 9/2/95.

  4. This ftp daemon is preferable if:
  5.  
  6.     * You dislike the high overhead of wu-ftpd.
  7.  
  8.     * You prefer a reasonably secure ftp daemon.
  9.  
  10.     * You don't run a large anonymous ftp site (though this daemon
  11.       should work fine for that too, it just doesn't have as many
  12.       creeping features are wu-ftpd).

  14. It seems stable.  Man page is included.

  18. It works on my machine: Slackware 2.3, Gcc 2.7.0 (a.out), Linux 1.2.13.
